Recently I’ve been noticing some changes in my vision. I’m squinting a bit more, slightly blurry vision, and feel like my eyes are tired most of the time. My job requires me to be in front of a computer screen often and although I’m able to schedule time away from the computer screen at work, I don’t find myself giving my eyes as much of a break I’m sure it needs. Not to mention that most of my downtime is of course in front of a computer or phone screen.
Stress, lack of rest and not so healthy eating habits can definitely lead to dry, itchy tired eyes especially after a long day of focusing your eyes. Lately I’ve been taking steps to eliminate a lot of the sugar I consume on a daily basis and focusing on incorporating more whole foods into my daily diet.
In that pursuit I made my way to my local natural health store and picked up an Eyebright herbal supplement. I hope to have a review on this mid summer as I have not been using it too long to give my opinion just yet. But so far my research has led me to some interesting information on this herb.
