I was in need of a somewhat heavy moisturizer for my dry moody sensitive skin.
I’m doing some research on some organic lines but I opted for this Aveeno Smart Essentials Moisturizer for $14.99 in the meantime.
This moisturizer contains southern wood which is loaded with antioxidants to relieve damaged skin as well as help the skin retain moisture.
For a night cream I found it to be light.
So I also used it as a day cream. My only issue with this moisturizer was the scent. I tend to have issues with scents mostly because my sinuses tend to flare up. So I wasn’t able to use it for more than 3 days before giving it to my sister. It wasn’t an overbearing scent but my nose was not having it. Overall I liked the moisturizer, unlike a few I’ve come across this one actually made my skin feel soothed and moisturized as opposed to just sitting on my skin.
Would I recommend it?
Sure, it seems light enough for the day and light enough for those that have oily skin and are looking for a light night cream as well.
